TCMP Research Symposium -

First annual University of Michigan Construction Research Symposium

On October 28, 2011, the TCMP hosted the first annual University of Michigan Construction Research Symposium. The symposium showcased the university's current construction research projects. Approximately ten PhD students presented their research in a poster format along with visual media, such as video and interactive software. In addition, all TCMP Master’s students (about 25 of them) were in attendance to meet and interact with several representatives from the construction industry who attended. The goal of this recurring annual event is to provide construction industry professionals with an opportunity to interact with all TCMP graduate students, and showcase the ongoing research in the program. Overall, this year’s event was a huge success and largely attended by industry representatives, students, and UM faculty.
